God, what a painful Passion paid for the sins of the world! When I realize that Your Son went through such violence, such torment, it makes me fall down on my knees. O Savior, what a hard-won gift is life eternal! Help me to keep my eyes on the cross, that I may love and serve You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
